Key tips part 2

The other 3 tips:

3) Sleep! (Minimum of 6-8hours / day)

3) I cannot reiterate how important SLEEP is! Yes, SLEEP! It is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY important. Even machines and robot themselves need rest don’t they? (Via charging). Nevertheless, HUMANS!! So many people have been debating hey we only need 5 hours of sleep some say 6 and experts say 8 is the standard number of sleep hours. My sleep hours will be 7-8hours where 6 is the bare minimum number of hours one should sleep. Why sleep? The obvious reason will be to rest but the importance of sleep is due to sleep can help our bodies and us to:
- Reduce blood pressure and cholesterol levels of our bodies
- Reduce stress by lightening the nervous system
- Aid our body in recovering, be more active and slightly smarter

Or not our bodies will be zombie-like, being restless throughout the following day if we do not have enough sleep. We will lack energy, strength and our focus will be off. So remember to sleep well! It doesn’t matter whether u study or work till 2-3am every day and wake up at 7am the next morning and trying to be the best when your body is crying from the inside.  Sacrificing your own health in trade for these few hours and in a long run you would lose out EVEN MORE, trust me. It doesn’t matter how successful we are if we do not get to live our lives long right? Be it you are single or married.

4) Drink green tea or other types of tea!

http://az-teas.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/tea-cup1.jpg

Reasoning:

4)  Every now and then people are having tea breaks in between their afternoon/evening time do you? One funny point is that more often than not, when any of us out there were to mention green tea most of the guys would be like “NO- NO IT IS BADDDDD!!!” (Green tea cause SPERMS to be KILLED). Now if any of your friends out there were to say these slap them right in their face or even yourself. (JkJk)
Well, it’s not your fault if you do not know the real facts about green tea because I myself do not know it until one day I decided to do some research and testing. I know that they are many, many articles out there screwing people’s mind by providing nonsensical information. The fact is green tea does not cause sperms to be killed* There is no scientific evidence that proved green tea does. In fact, green tea contains polyphenol an extract that boost metabolism allowing us to burn extra calories per day and even more when working out. It also helps to reduce bad cholesterol level in our body, reduce bloody pressure and slowing the rise of blood sugar after eating so you do not feel the sudden insulin spike causing you to be tired and drowsy after your meal. It also contains anti-oxidants like fruits for example peach to clean up the by-products of oxidation reaction in our bodies. (When I mean drinking of tea it is the original types without sugar or maybe just a little bit)

5) Love chocolates? Go for those that are 70% cocoa or higher dark chocolate

Reasoning:

5) Chocolates are my favourite snack. To many people who are working out, fear of gaining weight they choose to avoid candies etc so on and forth. But there is actually not a need to avoid chocolates as long as you pick the right ones – mainly dark chocolate above 70% cocoa. Why dark chocolate? Because dark chocolates normally contains half the sugar that you find in those normal milky and sweet chocolates and also higher amounts of fats that cause regular chocolate to be super fattening. (Don’t believe me, READ THE LABELS of your candies before purchasing them!!)

 Benefits:

- Reduce blood pressure, improves blood flow and prevent formation of blood clots

- Eating dark chocolate will also make you feel happier due to encouraging of the brain to release  endorphins as chocolate contains phenylethylamine (PEA) the same chemical that our brain creates when we feel like falling in love.

-It is also full of anti-oxidants and high in vitamins and minerals (Your potassium, copper, magnesium and iron)

So to conclude, it is okay to eat chocolates but the golden rule is to pick the right one for your health ^^

People always say it is never too late to start but if you can, then start EARLY!! It’s always better to start early than to start late. I used to be eating my popcorns, nuggets and snacking potato chips, my ice creams and cakes when I was 13 (To be frank :D). Until I got into fitness and health after my O-levels and after 8months here I am now with my new physique awesome!! Our human bodies are amazingly incredible. They tend to adapt to changes you make in your life be it your diet, sleep habit, your mood almost anything and everything is detectable by the body itself. However, it is not to say that you should cut out every unhealthy food from your diet! Anything that is too much is not good. For me it is a NO WAY!! I mean come on all of us only live once right? I still enjoy my chocolates (You know which one I am talking about), bubble tea, ice cream. As long as you regulate them per say once or twice per week. Simple changes such as switching to eating potatoes or even sweet potatoes instead of your fries and potato chips, drinking your bubble tea by choosing the minimal sugar level and cut out the bottom half of your chicken chop/ cutlet’s skin. All these will make a difference I guarantee you! Instead of going on starvation, skipping meals or taking expensive supplements that harms your health because some supplements out there are not even approved by the (FDA). Thereby I wish you luck:D

Feel free to comment!! (Will be covering on exercising, personal hygiene and mental fitness on my next post)
