Stay healthy by eating???

http://blog.wpsic.com/Portals/155822/images/Healthy.jpg

More often than not, we spend most of our meals outside of our homes and even if we were to consume our meals at home we would eat packaged food (your popcorns, nuggets, fish fillets) or even canned food (sardines, luncheon meat) or even to snack in chips to replace our proper meals and I believe there are many other more. You name it.

Why? There are mainly 3 reasons:
1) Convenience.
2) Too lazy to do so.
3) Just love the taste.

Do you agree with me? :D
If you agree, stay with me!

Although all these foods are generally tasty but it must be noted that they are filled with high amounts of Fats, Salt, Sugar, MSG and many other preservatives. The devils that cause you to gain weight overtime or have other illness/diseases. You might want to research on what foods in high fats, salts, sugar, MSG etc will impact our bodies for e.g causing heart diseases so on and so forth.

Many of us will then come out with excuses like - "Having no choice." But let us be frank with each other. We do have a choice don't we? Its either we choose to or not to do it. Simply, browse through the internet for some recipe as to how to cook meals should take no more than 15minutes. Plus spending an hour during the weekends purchasing grocery such as poultry (Salmon, Pork, Chicken, and Beef), vegetables (kale, broccoli, lettuce, cabbage, potato, onions, and garlic), eggs, nuts, Olive oil and fruits. Most importantly white rice! If I can cook all these real foods so can you right? :D
Some of the ingredients i use for flavoring are:
1) Salt & Pepper
2) Oyster sauce
3) Sesame oil
4) Barbeque sauce          YUM! :D (Personally it's tasty for me when I add these<<<)

What you can do is to cook and pack your meals before the night and heat it up the next morning to bring it to work or even school. I believe most of your workplace have a microwave oven. As for students, your recess time is mainly during 9-12am right? So your lunch will still be warm by then. I know it's time consuming having to do it every day but think of the bright side: 1) not only you will be healthier 2) you can save $$ MONEY!! It is always cheaper to eat home-made food compared to outside ones. Approximately 2-3times difference in pricing and we certainly cannot compare to the quality! As it is made by yourself, your effort, your very own home-cook food.

Well, if you still prefer to eat outside then, just a tip for you, whenever you feel that after a meal u have pretty bad phlegm in your throat or you have an urge to jug down glasses of water, it’s best to avoid those foods because they are the ones that are oily, high in fat and have lots of MSG contained in it. Choose what to eat wisely! Because after all, it is what we put into our bodies at the end of the day.
