Hello >w<
Today I will be posting a short tutorial on how to do your base make-up.
I am in no way a trained professional and this is just my method of doing my make-up
Feel free to comments if you have any tips or things you think I should change :)
*THIS POST CONTAINS PHOTOS OF MY BARE FACE WITH PIMPLES SO :<*
*For this tutorial I will only be working on the right side of my face as it has more pimples and I can show you the effect of make-up more effectively :>*
So Anime characters always have flawless skin, which is pretty rare in real life.
I will be teaching you how to achieve flawless skin in 3 SIMPLE STEPS!
These are the make-up I will be using for this tutorial ~
(From the left)
1.Make-up base (Maybelline baby skin pore eraser)
2. Power foundation (L'Oreal mat magique all-in-one foundation)
3. Liquid Concealer(Maybelline mineral concealer)
4. Stick concealer (Canmake color stick)
There are 3 types of Foundations
1: Liquid foundation (For dry skin)
2: Power foundation (For Oily- Combination skin)
3: Stick foundation (All types)
For this tutorial, I will be using Powder foundation as my skin type is combination.
So...
This is my bare face with Grey cosmetic lenses
I actually have a lot of pimples and red spots.
It doesn't look as bad only because my phone cant seem to capture redness well :<
So here is a clearer photo to show you the right side of my face, which has more pimples and is pretty red in real life :<
Step 1: Apply make-up base evenly over whole face
This is the texture of the make-up base I'm using, it is clear and pretty thin and it just smoothens and reduces the appearance of pores :)
Step 2: Apply concealer at 3 main areas
1: Under-eye area
2: Areas that are red such as the corners of your nose and chin
3: Pimples and blemishes
YES IT LOOKS pretty funny now BUT !!!
Once you blend it in with a concealer brush or your fingers, it will look okay :)
OPTIONAL STEP: Stick concealer
Use a stick concealer (which is thicker) to conceal red spots that cannot be concealed by the liquid concealer as it is too thin :)
Don't worry about your face containing different colours at this point in time as it would blend in with the foundation~
Step 3: Power foundation
I personally prefer powder foundation as it makes your face matte and it tends to last longer
Apply powder foundation evenly on your whole face UNTIL YOUR NECK.
This is so that your face would not look too fair as compared to your neck in photos :)
So... HERE IS THE RESULT ~
The right side of my face obviously looks much better than the other side now :>
My pimples and red spots can't be seen anymore.
So this is how I do my base make-up~
THANK YOU FOR READING AND I HOPE IT HELPED YOU :>
Feel free to comment below if you think there are any areas for improvement or if it has helped you :)
